The Maverick Guide

The Maverick Guide is a series of UK travel guides that I curated, wrote, and designed between 2019 - 2022. Each book covers a different county of the Westcountry and is filled with recommendations for places to eat, sleep and explore.

I founded The Maverick Guide in 2019 as a go-to resource for visitors to the South West. The business includes a directory website, an online blog, and a series of premium printed guidebooks that cover the counties of Devon, Cornwall, and Dorset.

As Editor & Founder, I’ve worn many hats – researching and writing content, designing each guidebook, managing all social media accounts, and handling advertising sales and book distribution.
